Judge rules Pacman can participate, just not wrestle

08/11/2007 - Franklin, TN (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - A Williamson County judge reportedly ruled Saturday morning that Tennessee Titans suspended cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones can participate in wrestling, but he is restricted from being involved in any physical activity.

The ruling stems from the Titans filing a motion in Williamson County court on Friday to prohibit Jones from participating in wrestling.

According to the Tennessean, a Williamson County judge approved the modifications that were set forth by the Titans.

Jones is scheduled to make his debut with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling on Sunday in a pay-per-view event titled "Hard Justice", but he now will not be allowed to engage in any physical contact.

The Titans cornerback was suspended by the NFL for a year because of several legal problems since being drafted in 2005.

On Friday, a judge dismissed three traffic citations that Jones had.

However, he still faces felony coercion charges in connection with a February 19 fight and triple-shooting at a Las Vegas strip club. Jones also faces a felony charge of obstruction stemming from a physical altercation in February 2006 with an officer on patrol in Fayetteville, Ga., but no trial date has been set.
